Use the right type of recipient detail
A character name, public account ID, profile URL, and login credential are not the same thing. Use only the identifier supported by the stated delivery method. Ordinary item or currency delivery should not treat password sharing as routine.
Check server, platform, and region
Confirm the exact server, platform, game version, and region. Also check friend, gift, trade, or account-age waiting periods, trade eligibility, inventory space, and any platform lock that could prevent delivery.
Understand the stated delivery method
Common methods include a direct trade, in-game mail, auction or listing, guild transfer, and gifting. Each game can limit or prohibit a method, so technical availability does not prove publisher permission.
Separate the gross amount from the net amount
The gross amount is what starts the transfer. The net amount is what reaches the recipient after in-game trade, mail, auction, or listing fees. Agree on which amount the description promises.
Plan for partial or staged delivery
Large quantities may arrive in several parts because of inventory, trade, or timing limits. Record each completed part and the amount still missing. Stock or delivery estimates can change, so do not confirm the whole result after only one part.
Check for wrong-recipient and impersonation risk
Compare the exact character or profile before accepting a trade, gift, mail, or listing. A similar display name is not enough. Do not follow a last-minute method change from an unknown person without verifying it.

Gross is the amount sent or placed into the method. Net is what reaches you after any in-game fees or deductions.
Do item deliveries normally need my password?
Many trades, gifts, mail transfers, and auctions use a public character or account identifier instead. A password is a much higher-access request and should not be treated as normal recipient information.
