Use three careful stages

Do not rush through the first login. Each stage answers a different question.

  • 1. Check before changing anything: compare the game, platform, region, progress, rank, items, and restrictions with the description.
  • 2. Secure the account and email: review passwords, two-factor authentication, active sessions, and contact details through official settings.
  • 3. Review recovery and linked access: find connected console, social, store, and platform accounts and understand who may still recover control.

First, compare what is inside

Compare the account with the description before you change anything. Check every point below.

Then look for trade locks, competitive restrictions, warnings, or sanctions that may affect use. Preserve a redacted record of the original description and visible account state.

  • The exact game edition.
  • The platform the account belongs to.
  • The region set on the account.
  • The current rank.
  • The progress already completed.
  • The characters on the account.
  • The items held in the inventory.
  • The balance of any in-game currency.
  • The stated restrictions that apply.

Secure the account and connected email

Use official account settings to review the password, email access, two-factor authentication, backup methods, and active sessions. Do not send credentials or authentication codes to Lootvera. Lootvera does not collect or store them.

Find every linked account

A console, social, launcher, store, or platform identity may still provide login or recovery access. Record which links exist and whether they can be changed. Removing a link may cause a waiting period or affect access, so understand the official process before changing it.

Understand who has recovery control

The original email, purchase history, device history, identity records, or publisher support answers may let another person regain access. Changing a visible password or email does not remove every recovery path.

Do not destroy useful evidence

Some changes can make the original state harder to prove or may affect an available review process. Save a redacted description, timeline, and account-state record before changing details, but never store passwords or authentication codes in the evidence.

Know what the checklist cannot prove

A working login cannot prove permanent ownership, remove hidden sanctions, or override publisher rules. Account transfers remain very high risk even when every visible check passes.

Beginner questions

Does changing the email prove that I own the account?

No. Original records, linked identities, devices, or publisher support information may still allow recovery by someone else.

Should I enter credentials into a Lootvera checklist?

No. Lootvera educational guides never need your actual username, password, recovery answer, or authentication code.
